Spring Has Sprung
It finally feels like spring has sprung. We planted shrubs two summers ago but this is the first time they've bloomed and I'm just thrilled. The weigelas in particular are amazing; the entire bush is covered in blooms. The dwarf lilacs have also bloomed and when we open the windows in the baby's room we can smell them. I can't believe in about five weeks baby will be able to smell them...

wow. about 4 weeks now, huh?? I'm so pumped and can't wait to hear about the baby.
THe flowers look amazing!! Isn't it great to see the fruits of your labor?
We just planted a bunch on our deck and a vine too. The reason is because our deck is off our master bedroom, and the neighboors have perfect view onto the deck. We decided to put wave petunias on the top to grow downward, and a vine below the deck to grow up and cover all the rest over the years.
