11/13/2008A Close Call
Eric got me a new iPod Nano for my birthday last month and I love it. My iPod mini was good to me for many years, but it wasn't holding a charge very well and some of the peripherals we'd purchased weren't working very well. So, enter my new iPod which is very slim and very pink.
Tonight my precious iPod was nowhere to be found. We were listening to it in the car last night on the way to our Bible study but it did not make it back to the house. After checking the car and the garage we took a drive over to Kerri and Brad's where we met last night. Sitting upright next to the curb was my iPod nano. It was in it's pink sock which was soaked from being in the rain but the iPod itself after being wiped off is working perfectly. Thank you Lord!!
And just in time too because I have a new song to play over and over and over and over...Rock and Roll by Eric Hutchinson is catchy and cute and I've listened to it three times since I started writing this entry. I heard it on Cities 97 on my way to Menomonie and bought it on iTunes first chance I got. I wish they'd play good music like this on the stations in Eau Claire--their music choices are so safe.

We've been eating SmartOnes for lunch on a regular basis for about a year now. Today I had the three cheese ziti marinara one and it was soo good. It's my favorite SmartOne; it tastes like "real" food. I wish I could eat it every day, but I'm afraid I'll burn out on it. I do that a lot...I really like something, like a food or a song, and I'll enjoy it so much that I don't really like it that much anymore. I do that with music most of all--I'll buy a song on iTunes and then listened to it over and over and over until I'm kinda sick of it. Song I'm currently hitting repeat with: I'm Your's by Jason Myraz. So, so good. Maybe as good as three cheese ziti.

Richard has allergies. We've been giving him allergy shots to stop him from itching but every once in a while he gets a bad flair up and won't stop. So we put booties on him to stop him from scratching. He does pretty well with them and this afternoon looked awfully cute in them.

11/2/2008Hurray for Daylight Savings
Daylight savings is one of Eric's most favorite days. He talks about it for about a week before it arrives and is in a swimmingly good mood for the entire day. This morning when we woke up the first thing out of his mouth was, "Yeah extra hour of sleep." The man loves his sleep.
